You'll probably find this review was not as helpful. The parts were first published as three separate volumes starting in September 1975. (Is the thought of a unicorn a real thought?) The trilogy comprises three parts which contain five books and appendices: The Eye in the Pyramid (first two books), The Golden Apple (third and part of fourth book), Leviathan (part of fourth and all of fifth book, and the appendices). Which, in the context of the book and based on what douglas adams thinks about dolphins, it may not be so fictional. It's a fiction, in which there are talking dolphins. It can naturally assumed that both of these authors were on drugs when they wrote it, I'm not saying that as a positive thing, although, it does make it funnier to read. I could write a similar length novel just describing the characters and their connections. It intentionally confusing and contradictory. JFK, drugs, sex, anarchists, antichrists, and the occult and there are puns. It's about drugs and us history and world history,and alternate world histories. It's something you have to just read and figure out for yourself. ![]() I think someone said it was the lord of the rings for paranoids. ![]()
